Ehsan has had a passion for his craft since childhood. Being born in Southwestern Asia, in Iran, Ehsan was raised in a family that taught him how to heal with natural remedies, which later sparked his love of holistic healing.
In his early life, Ehsan began expanding his knowledge in freelance practices with guiding principles of natural healing and self-care at local gyms. By his 20’s, he began working with athletes.
Through hard work, inspiration from his own Indigenous traditions, and motivation to help others, Ehsan watched as his clients improved gradually because of his insights. In 2016, his passion for self-improvement led him to school to become an RMT (Registered Massage Therapist). He would go on to graduate in 2018 and become registered in 2019.
Over 4 years, Ehsan worked as a massage therapist at Sutherland and Chan, and eventually started his own home practice in 2021.
At his 5-year mark of being an RMT, Ehsan felt the need to do more to expand his art. Today, Ehsan is a student at Eight Branches College, where he is studying to become a Registered Acupuncturist, while working as a full-time RMT.
It is his belief that by combining his massage treatments with the traditional Chinese art of acupuncture, patients will experience a much more thorough healing process regarding their pre-existing conditions.
Ehsan’s goal as a health care practitioner is to bring peace and equilibrium back to the patient’s body through holistic healing, traditional Chinese acupuncture and massage therapy, to assist all patients on their path to recovery. Ehsan achieves this by healing the body through the treatment of joints, muscles, body mechanics, nervous system and spirit. He also prides himself on his abilities of coaching patients to be better at taking care of themselves and prioritizing their own well-being.
Ehsan specializes in deep therapeutic healing, sports massage, deep tissue massages, tension headaches, migraine/sinus issues, TMJ syndrome and fascial tension release (for patients who suffer from anxiety, teeth grinding and/or past traumas), trigger point therapy and Acupressure. Ultimately Treating the body as a whole.
Today, Ehsan works at Zen and Tonic as an RMT.

Registered Acupuncturist and Practitioner of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM)
Carmina graduated from the Toronto School of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TSTCM), successfully completing their 4 year TCMP Diploma program with honours. She is a registered member of the College of Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners and Acupuncturists of Ontario and is practised in the areas of acupuncture, herbal medicine, cupping, moxibustion, and Tui Na massage. Carmina has also traveled to Denver, CO to study under Dr. Martha Lucas, where she earned the certification to use Dr. Lucas’ patented Mei Zen cosmetic acupuncture system to treat patients for facial/neck rejuvenation and weight management.
Carmina is an educator and an advocate of continuing education and lifelong learning. She’s a faculty member of her alma mater TSTCM where she teaches TCM theory classes and tutors TCM students preparing for their licensing exams. In clinic, Carmina teaches her patients how to use TCM for self care at home, providing them with tools like TCM diet and Qi gong to help prolong the effects of her treatments.
As a practitioner of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Carmina’s approach to healing begins with caring and compassion, and respecting that each patient is unique. She follows the basic premise of TCM practice: “Treat the patient, not the disease” – meaning she treats the patient as a whole, restoring balance within the body, strengthening the person’s Qi (vital energy), thereby allowing the body to fight the disease naturally. Carmina has successfully treated patients with digestive disorders, gynecological disorders, stress related disorders, pains/aches, allergies, insomnia and as a former intern at the Dorothy Lea Hospice has experience in bereavement support and palliative care.
